La Maison funéraire Robert et fils du Témiscamingue vous informe du décès de Monsieur Samuel Boyd, né le 6 février 1957, décédé paisiblement entouré de ses enfants et de sa femme, au Centre régional de santé de North Bay le jeudi 5 octobre 2017. Samuel laisse dans le deuil son épouse Louise Boyd (née Monette) de Témiscaming, au Québec. Ses enfants se souviendront de lui avec amour; Jeff Blackmore (Stefanie) de Callander, en Ontario; Tracey Blackmore (Shawn Desjardins) et Samantha Boyd (Danzle Alguire) de Témiscaming, au Québec. La mémoire de Samuel sera chérie et poursuivie à jamais par ses sept petites-filles. Samuel était l'un d’une famille de cinq enfants; Heather Gavin (Brian) d'Edson, en Alberta; Valerie Daly (Bob) de Sarnia, en Ontario, et Melanie Niittynen (Denis) de Thunder Bay, en Ontario. Il est parti rejoindre sa sœur, Debbie Helmink (Sonny de Terrace Bay, Ontario). Il était l'oncle adoré de plusieurs nièces, neveux, grandes nièces et grands neveux.

L’inhumation aura lieu au cimetière de Témiscaming le mercredi 11 octobre 2017 à 16h00; suivie d'une petite célébration de la vie au club de golf de Témiscaming.


La Maison funéraire Robert et fils du Témiscamingue informs you of the passing of Mr. Samuel Boyd, born February 6, 1957, passed away peacefully surrounded his children and wife, at the North Bay Regional Heath Centre on Thursday, October 5, 2017. Samuel is the late son of Samuel Sr. and Ethel Boyd (nee: Adams), and originally hailed from his childhood town of Terrace Bay, Ontario. Samuel is survived by his loving wife, Louise Boyd (nee: Monette) of Temiscaming, Quebec. He is lovingly remembered by his children; Jeff Blackmore (Stefanie) of Callander, Ontario; Tracey Blackmore (Shawn Desjardins) and Samantha Boyd (Danzle Alguire) of Temiscaming, Quebec. Samuel’s memory will be cherished and carried on forever through his seven granddaughters. Samuel was one of five children; Heather Gavin (Brian) of Edson, Alberta; Valerie Daly (Bob) of Sarnia, Ontario, and Melanie Niittynen (Denis) of Thunder Bay, Ontario. Samuel is pre-deceased by one sister, Debbie Helmink (Sonny of Terrace Bay, Ontario). Samuel was the adored Uncle to several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Samuel was a 29 year employee of Tembec Inc., and fondly remembered to close friends as a person to drop anything to help someone in need. Samuel was naturally a kind and gentle soul who doted on his family and enjoyed his life. Samuel is known for his quick witted and prankster sense of humor, as he enjoyed nothing more than a good laugh.

Samuel will be laid to rest at the Temiscaming Cemetery on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at 4:00pm; followed by a small celebration of life at the Temiscaming Golf Club. Those who do not live, live forever in our hearts.
